Bachelors and masters degrees in Pre-K-12 special education and additional certification in Training and Development. Over 35 years in special education servicing students (as a classroom teacher and consultant) with reading and social/emotional challenges. Former Training Director of a Boston-based teacher training non-profit. Current 22-year National Teacher Trainer of early literacy practices and social/emotional development for school districts of need across America. National parent Trainer for BoysTown, Common Sense Parenting. Foster parent of 13 teenagers experiencing extreme behavioral difficulties. Current Specialized Reading Therapist of 13, K-5 students from across the United States demonstrating extreme reading challenges. Currently developing a small-group, play-based Developmental Reading Clinic for youngsters lacking the foundational reading skills required for later reading success. Davis, CA.
